A catalogue or repository that hosts the datasets to be described. Typically it is used to represent catalogs such as CKAN/DKAN catalogs containing open data of public administrations. However, the class can be used to define even catalog of any type of data, not necessarily open data (e.g., a catalog of the databases of a public administration). The class has been defined in the context of the Italian application profile DCAT-AP IT as a sub class of dcat:Catalog. This allows maintaining a fully alignment to that external ontology but guaranteeing, at the same time, the possibility to add additional propertie,s and restrictions on those properties, according to the DCAT-AP IT requirements. This class is mandatory.
