This class includes the provision of post-secondary education and training programmes (both general and vocational) which cannot be considered tertiary education. These are post-secondary non-tertiary education and training programmes. It may also include the provision of supplementary post-secondary education to prepare for tertiary education or for post-secondary non-tertiary vocational education.Questa classe include l'erogazione (e quindi i programmi) di istruzione e formazione post-secondaria, generale e professionale, che non può essere considerata istruzione terziaria. Può anche includere l'offerta di istruzione post-secondaria supplementare per la preparazione all'istruzione terziaria o professionale post-secondaria non terziaria.
Sono escluse le seguenti attività:
- formazione professionale regionale post-obbligo della durata di 1-3 anni, cfr. 85.32
- istruzione terziaria professionalizzante, cfr. 85.40
- corsi di istruzione e formazione erogati dagli Istituti di Istruzione Tecnica Superiore (ITS, ITS-Academy) anche in regime di Apprendistato di Alta Formazione e Ricerca, cfr. 85.40
- istruzione e formazione non formale, cfr. 85.5
